my phone is water damaged even it is water proof why?

Resistant does NOT mean if it get's wet it won't be damaged. If your phone is damaged by water, you have to get an out of warranty replacement. iPhone warranty does NOT cover damage caused by water.

You are incorrect. No iPhone is waterproof. They are water resistant, but they've never been waterproof.

You also don't have warranty for your phone. As water damage is NOT covered by Apple warranty. You'll need to purchase a replacement.

Nope. Apple says its water resistant to one meter. Not waterproof. Big difference.

The iphone X is water resistant (not waterproof).

There are other options than just a replacement. Do a lot of research before you decide to do anything other than pay for a out of warranty replacement directly from Apple, but just know there are options.

Your phone is not waterproof.

I don't know why you:

A. Responded to me? I'm not the OP.

B. Felt the need to respond more than two weeks since the OP started the thread?

C. State there are options but not list them and why?

D. Because the ONLY option sanctioned by Apple is an Out of Warranty replacement.

E. And any other option would void any warranty the OP may have left.
