How can a downloaded APP be deleted from iOS-12?

The deleting of apps hasn't changed, you still press-and-hold an app on the iPad's homescreen until they start to shake, and then tap the 'x' to delete an app. If you don't get the 'x' on any app check to see if you've restricted the deletion of apps via Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps 'off'
