Bought my MacBook Air in summer of 2016. Got the extra warranty but noticed smoke where my power plug and where you plug the cord into my MacBook and it’s fried does my extra warranty still cover or do I still need to pay extra to get it fixed?
It will be covered if your warranty is still in effect. if you extended the warranty at the time of purchase, then it is in effect for a total of three years. It should last until the Summer of 2019. Repairs are covered as long as you are not responsible for the damage.
