downloading cd music to itune playlist
I can download cds into my PC itunes, but when I try to sync to ipod, the songs do not show up on the ipod. I have plenty of space.

See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB - Apple Support. Perhaps you need to update your sync selections so that your recent imports are included in what gets synced to your device.
