iPhone X S Max charging problem

Return the phone for a refund or exchange it.

Yet one that does not occur on all phones. So could be hardware and might be resolved by having the phone replaced.

Just try to turn off and turn on the "Raise to Wake" option. Worked for me. 😉

The issue isn’t too every phone, but many are complaining that either iPhone will not charge in sleep mode or having to unplug and plug back in the charger in order for it be recognized.. either way seems like a software issue related to iOS 12

I have no issues charging my Xs Max.

Have you tried a wireless charger pad. I love them they work awesome! Just set it on top and no plug to mess with the bottom of the iPhone and it chargers thru my full body case as well.

No, it does not affect all, whatever it is. My 512 GB XS Max charges to 100% every time.

Many have experienced it with Apple Watch and other phone models.. could be hardware but a lot point to software.. if it is hardware.. then apple is in for a major head ache

One always wonders why software issues can affect some people and not others using the exact same software.

But isn’t that our battery will drain or last shorter time if we use wireless charging?

Simply getting a new One will not fix the issue.. it is either a software issue or hardware that effects all models.. with me I have noticed that it doesn’t always do it but when it does I have to either un plug from wall or phone once or twice in order for it to start charging..

Hopefully apple will update us soon
