Can I buy an European version of the new iPhone X's in the US?

Hi! I'm from Argentina. I'm traveling next month to the US and I want to buy the new iPhone. The model sold in there will not work on my country. It's any way to buy the europEur version instead that will actually work in here? Thanks!
