Safari remove bookmarks not working

Want to remove bookmarks in Safari, version 12, with drag and drop. It has been working before, but not since the last update of the Safari. Anyone who knows how to do it now in a smart way or when this is fixed again? Do not want to use Bookmars->Edit bookmarks.

How do you rearrange Safari bookmarks? (Jan 25/22) Hi guys, I recently discovered that I can't rearrange my bookmarks in Safari on my desktop under the "Edit Bookmarks" option. Is there a way to rearrange them or is this just part of some new software update? I remember I could easily rearrange bookmarks in the not so distant past, but not right now. The current Safari version I'm using is 15.2.

Bookmarks no longer "drag" I just upgraded to Safari 16.0 and now my bookmarks are messed up. I can no longer drag a bookmark from one folder to another and cannot drag a folder to another location. Anyone have a workaround?

You can right or control click a bookmark then click Delete if that works for you.
