Hello, Dasnita2!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here. I understand that your call history isn't updating as expected after installing iOS 12. I can give you a hand with this.

To start, I'd recommend simply rebooting your iPhone X since this can resolve many issues and is non-invasive. Here are the steps to reboot your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone X or later

  1. Press and hold the Side button and either volume button until the slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.*
  3. After your device turns off, press and hold the Side button again until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn't do the trick, you can also try force closing the Phone app on your iPhone X. You can follow the steps in How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .

I hope you find this helpful.

Best regards.

Hi,

Thank you for participating in the topic. Unfortunately this isn’t solution for the issue that some of the iPhone users are complaining about. Turning off mobile phone won’t help as it is temporary cover so I personally think your post is useless but thank you once again for trying to help.

I’m technically are having the same issue and I’m currently turning off and on my mobile at least 10 times a day. I’ve done everything with it including resetting all the setting and it didn’t help at all. All was good tho but since I’ve updated IOS to 12 that issue occurred which means it is related to new operation system that have some glitch. I’m using model X and I’m telling you my patience is being tested as whenever I want to call someone I need to reset mobile.

Would be greatly appreciated if that issue can be flagged and send to your programmers to have a look at it as it seems there’s quite a lot of people affecting with it which you can see on how many subject has been raised so far.

If there’s anything I can assist you with please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a fabulous day ;)

Hi there, ever since I have installed the past three latest updates on my iPhone 6s, I have also been experiencing this issue. My call log completely freezes. I cannot scroll or tap anything in it. I have tried closing the window and reopening it, running a hard reset on my phone, etc. None of these troubleshooting steps fix it. It will happen a few times per day and it is very frustrating. This seems to be a bug.
