This morning for the first time ever, when I woke my iPad up a grey screen with the weather, my calendar for the day and a list of emails (I think....could have been texts) popped up briefly then was gone. I don't know where it came from of how to get it back.
can anyone tell me what it was and how to find it again?

I found my answer. On the "slide to unlock" screen there is a little dash about the date at the top. Pulling that icon down opens the screen I mentioned. Left along, the screen either goes back to sleep or disappears when I slide and unlock.
