iPhone 7 LTE connection issue

Hi


I recently bought an iPhone 7 (model A1660) a couple mouths ago. I'm having issue connecting to LTE in China using China Mobile carrier but LTE works fine with US carriers. I have already contacted China Mobile, they said that the issue was with the iPhone and I should look for help from Apple customer service. I do not have Apple Care.


I need some suggestions, what should I do? Do I have to go in to a store to troubleshoot?

Please explain more about the problem, tell us what you actually see wth your eyes to indicate there is a problem.

Check the most obvious problem first, make sure you didn’t accidentally activate airplane mode.

You say LTE. Does that mean other lower rated services like 3G are working?

Which network provider?

Has it ever worked in China?

Does the phone connect sometimes, or never connects?

what does the signal indicator show on screen?

In Settings, General, About look just above the entry for Model, it should say either Carrier, or IMS Status. Tap it to toggle between the two options and note their values.
