I have a water damaged MBP that won't turn on. I was thinking about selling it for parts but can't see the details (processor, memory, etc) of the macbook. I obviously have the sn but going on-line only says the 'headline' (2015 Macbook Pro 13" Late 2015)

When you sell it for parts make sure you disclose it is water damaged and won't turn on. It is likely that the "parts" are worthless since most are part of the logic board.
I was looking for information on retrieving the specs. Water damaged MBP, clearly disclosed and “as is” sell for parts around $200-$300 all day on eBay.

You can find the specs of your Macbook like so:
1. Click the Apple logo in upper-left corner.
2. Click "About this Mac"
3. If you need more information than this you can click "System report"
He said in his original post that the computer won't turn on.
