Thank you, however, that is NOT what I want to do. I want to share a FOLDER. You are sharing individual documents. Is it not possible with a folder filled with individual documents.

Folder sharing is not available using these dialogs. File level only.



On your Mac. Go to preferences > sharing to set up sharing folders locally over your LAN.


Your iCloud folder is also local, so that can be shared locally, but not via iCloud externally.

See these screen shots , click on drop down arrow of share options .

Check mark who can access - only people you invite .

If you share with mail , click on plus sign the person contact details must be previously added in your address book like his mail address and mobile number .

In the to field select the contact name and send the mail .
