Why is my Mac Mini 1.4GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 going so slowly?

Hey everyone, I run a business and we use Mac minis at a few of our desks. Mainly for documents saved on dropbox business.

All of a sudden a month or so ago, our Mac Mini 1.4GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 just started performing very slowly. We get beachballing and lags to open anything. Just loading takes for ever, let alone actually doing work on it. I wiped it and reinstalled dropbox, which took days to actually synch, and reinstalled the OS. Still lagging like crazy with barely anything on it.

I used Etrecheck to get a report which I have pasted below. Can anyone help please?!

Did you make any changes to the computer around the time this slowdown occurred. If so, it almost certainly isn't a coincidence. If not the only things that I can think of that would cause sudden performance issues are malware and a failing drive. EtreCheck does a pretty good job of reporting malware but it would be worth downloading MalwareBytes to double-check.
