I have deselected and reselected the network, removed and replaced the SIM card, powered off and restarted the phone reset the network settings.... everything I could find on the net. I have had this problem after installing ios12. Been leasing with O2 and they can't do anything. after talking to Apple tech support I went to the local Apple Store and was told it is an emerging problem and basically my iphone7 plus is unrepairable. The update has caused a problem with the modular modem and I need a new phone. I've raised a complaint with apple as I say it's their update that has caused the fault. Can't access any mobile data, texts or calls etc.

Apple has extended the warranty to cover this problem with the Iphone 7 to a total of 3 years. Take it to an Apple Authorized Repair center where they will evaluate it for eligibility. If it is due to their defective hardware, they will replace the logic board to repair your phone. That is my understanding, and how it worked for me.

Had the same problem with my 7 after updating to iOS 12... just updated to iOS12.1.2 and I’m seeing the return of the IMEI and the ‘No Sim’ signal as oppose to the ‘No Service’ and errors... I’ll see if the problem is fixed now or if I lose the IMEI again...
