Iphone XS WiFi signal is poor

Anyone else having issues with poor WiFi signal on iPhone XS? My speed is about 1/2 of what is normally was on my iPhone 8.

iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.2

Just set up iPhone XS last night - signal weak - unlike my iPhone 8 which was always 3 or 4 bars
