macOS Mojave chrome error ERR_CERT_DATABASE_CHANGED

Hi there,

After updating from high sierra to mac Mojave i'm having issues with chrome error :

ERR_CERT_DATABASE_CHANGED

I have macbook pro late 2015 with the following config :

2,5 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

And the error is happening quite often.

  • I have the last version of Google Chrome
  • I don't have AliPay
  • I've deleted the all the certificates in the keychain
  • I've deleted all the browser's data from 4 weeks ago
  • I've reinstalled the chrome from scratch

Nothing works, please help as i feel this is a major issue to not be able to use the chrome browser.

Regards!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Mojave (10.14), google chrome

Actually after looking at this post https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=649253

They say use sudo opensnoop to have a look at connections, you will see them throw errors

Things like AliPay, Kaspersky AV, Sophos - Delete them all including the hidden files and application support files. Reinstall again if you like after it's fixed. (I assume it breaks when going up to 10.14)

Worked for me, perfectly.

Hi all,

I Just want to post an update for all of you having the same problem.

I could not find any solution for it!

Basically the only solution (which i applied) was to revert back to High Sierra and never update my devices immediately after an update release.

This issue stopped my work time for about 8 hours (including the revert back process from time machine).

Thanks Apple for this mess!
