How do I close down background apps iPhone X iOS 12

To see all your open apps in the App Switcher, do the following:

1. iPhone X and later:Swipe up from the bottom edge and pause.

2. Swipe up the app you want gone fro App Switcher

Note: You do not need to manage apps yourself.

Apps other than Maps or Music do not run in the background.
