I am getting an error about connections to the server "imap.mail.me.com" on the default ports timing out.
This also happens to my gmail account.
I think this might have something to do with running a providers modem/router in bridge mode and a router because it started happening around the time I set it up this way.
Tried deleting and re-adding accounts with no results.
Please let me know if you have a solution.

I figured out that it was my Avast anti-virus blocking the ports.

If you change the router/modem back to what it was before, does it work? Do you have any other devices/computers that can connect? If you are connecting via WiFi, what does Wireless Diagnostics show?

I would uninstall Avast. It tends to interfere with the computer's operation while providing minimal to no benefit unless you work with Windows files. Most long time posters recommend not using antivirus software or cleaning software such as CleanMyMac.
