music app on my new phone (android) i have logged in with the same Apple ID but the music i have previously purchased is not showing?

So ok I have got a new Samsung (don’t shoot I know it’s not an Apple phone. But I was using an Apple phone before and loved the music side of it. I was told that as I have an Apple ID and have brought music I could download the Apple Music app onto my new phone and still access the songs I have purchased. However this isn’t showing. I don’t want to register for a trial, I just want to be able to listen to the songs I have previously brought under that Apple ID
