My Apple Pay sandbox account does not accept any American Express cards. Need help

I am testing on Apple Pay Sandbox and I cannot add any American Express cards to my wallet nor successfully complete Apple Payment with an American Express card. I am using multiple Apple Pay Sandbox accounts and none of them are compatible with any of the American Express test cards. Please help.

Why does my wallet says my American Express card is not supported? I am trying to link my Platinum American Express card to my Apple Pay (since in China there are not so many places they accept AMEX but most of them accept Apple Pay), but when trying to submit it after adding all the cards info, a notification appears saying that "My Issuer does not yet support for this card". Everywhere I have looked online points that American Express DOES support apple pay. Could anybody help me with this? Thanks P

Credit One Bank American Express Apple Pay Hello, I see a few people here have had trouble adding their crappy Credit One Bank American Express card to Apple Pay. I can’t add mine and every time I call, some foreigner who can barely speak English has no clue what I’m talking about. Does anyone know if you can indeed add this card to Apple Pay?

Unable to add any Credit card How do I add card to Apple Pay..? I don’t have the add card option. is it because I’m not residing in the United States..?
