Apple Watch: Cannot snooze alarm with crown/button while wearing

While wearing the apple watch (i.e. NOT in nightstand mode), I found that I cannot snooze the alarm with the digital crown or the side button.

Digital Crown

1 click = dismiss

double click = dimiss

hold = nothing

Side Button

1 click = nothing

double click = silent alarm, i.e. NOT dismiss NOR snooze

hold = power off screen

I wear the watch to bed, and would like to be able to snooze in the morning using the digital crown similar to the nightstand mode. This lets me snooze without opening my eyes lol : p. (I'm ok with using the side button also.)
