I just got the series 4 watch and it’s great. I have one concern though. My “custom” complications for apps that slow them don’t appear as options on the new faces. They are still available on any other or old faces but with the new ones...nothing. Is there a way to fix this?

Take a look at the link that welafever provided. That lists the complications available for each watch face. If the complication you are looking for is not listed, then you need to provide feedback to Apple here, https://www.apple.com/feedback/watch.html
I suggest going to the Watch app, Complications and see what is listed there. Check other watch faces and see if the complications show in those. Some of the newer watch faces will not support all complications. That could be what you are witnessing. It has also been suggested that some 3rd party apps need to update their apps to support the new Watch faces.
All third party apps need an update to use the series 4 new screens. It’s a developer problem.

That says the default apps, but not for 3rd party apps that have complication options such as Shazam or Gymaholic
I cannot find a Message complication choice on the Series 4 new face. Can hold 8 complications, but messages isn’t one???
(I am referring to Apple’s own messaging app, not a third party developer.)
