I'm trying to make my ibook g3 think it's brand new again

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

Insert its original disk and restart with the C or Option key held down.


If you're using a 9.2.2 or earlier disk, use the Erase Disk command in the Finder's Special menu to erase the internal drive.

If you're using a Mac OS X disk, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive.


Install a fresh OS.
