How specifically can I restore the earlier version of Safari?

I operate a MacBook Air, mid 2011with Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 and have updated every time a new update comes out. Safari 12 was just released and I updated Safari. Post update, I was unable to access our business system and saw an unsupported plugin message every time I was trying to access the Oracle program we use. Doing some reading, I update Java with no change in results. I am a one person company who was put out of business with this update and the only solutions appear to be 1. restore to an earlier Safari version or 2. download Parallel and a windows license to access the factory program.

Which solution is best and how is it done? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Thank you for the suggestion. In the meantime, I called Apple Care and they had me reinstall the OS and revert back to Safari 11.1.2 which solved the problem. Safari 12 does not allow access (unsupported plugin) because of its enhanced security settings possibly. I did message Apple Engineering in the feedback session asking them to enhance 12 to inspect the site link and see if 12 could be enhanced to allow access. Thank you for the response.

I suggest you use the program created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. It will provide a snapshot of your system which we can analyze to possibly determine the cause of your problem. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
