How do I set my calendar as my desktop background?

Question

Was wondering how I would go about/if I am able to set my calender synced with my iPhone and my iMac to my desktop background on my iMac?

Am aware of how to screenshot it, but is there a way to leave it as my background and have it update and change?

Upon further research there are actually several applications that allow you to do this including Blotter.

Blotter hasn't been updated in 4 years so there was a good chance it isn't compatible with Mojave or High Sierra but I hope it works for you.
