Each time I exit iTunes the cd/DVD drawer of my external player opens! This never happened before. Any thoughts/solution for this?
iPad, iOS 6.0.1, iTunes 11.0.1.12
Is there a disc in the drive? Does it help if the drawer is empty?

I doubt it matters which application is the default. My guess would be that someone had a bright idea to check if a CD was present on closing iTunes and eject if found, with no consideration as to whether others would find that feature convenient. 😕

Hello. Yes, it seems only to happen when there is a disc in the drawer. Interesting. Is this likely resulting from a check iTunes does whether or not it is the default media player? I use VLC as default media player.
