Tibetan Fonts on Final cut pro???
Hi Apple folks,
Is tibetan fonts works properly on Final Cut Pro?
Hi Apple folks,
Is tibetan fonts works properly on Final Cut Pro?
The fonts provided by Apple for Tibetan are named Kailasa and Kokonor.
Tibetan is a complex script, and most Apple apps can do it without problem, but whether fcpx can display the character combinations (stacks) for Tibetan correctly would need to be tested to be sure.

Aside from trying different fonts, I think the only thing you can do is compose your titles somewhere else (iOS iMovie, Belle Nuit?) and paste them into your fcpx project.
In Font Book type "Tibet" into the search field.
If you find fonts there they can be used with FCP.
That doesn't say anything about the quality though.
Please provide examples of stacks that don’t work, with the keystrokes you used to make them, and screenshots of the results
Thanks for your reply.i do have a problem with stacking Tibetan letters. I can type most of the Tibetan letters but can’t stack all Tibetan letters properly on FCPX.
Hopefully someone will fixed that soon!
If you don't already have fcp, you can download a trial and see whether Tibetan input works right for your purposes
Looks like a bug.
The iOS version of iMovie on my iPad seems to do Tibetan ok.
How can I fixed that bug? Thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate that.
You can import the iOS iMovie project directly into FCP.
