I installed iOS 12 two days ago. My albums were here yesterday, and now most of my photo albums are gone. The pictures seem to be there still, but there’s no way I’ll be able to go through and restore the albums, as I had about 35 of them. Any ideas on why this happened or how to bring them back? I have Cloud backup, but don’t know if there is a way to download albums...

Make sure iCloud Photo Library is turned on
iCloud Photo Library safely stores all your photos and videos in iCloud, so that you can access them on all your devices. If you took a photo on your iPhone but don't see it on your other devices, check your settings.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap iCloud > Photos.
- Turn on iCloud Photo Library.
On your Mac:
- Go to System Preferences > iCloud.
- Next to Options, click Photos.
- Select iCloud Photo Library.
After you turn on iCloud Photo Library, connect to Wi-Fi and wait a few minutes. Then look for your photos again.
Photos that you add to your device with iTunes won't stay up to date with iCloud. Get help if you have photos from iTunes.
Hello! I still have all the pictures, but the albums I had them organized into are gone. It’ll take days to get them all put back in, and I don’t even remember what the names of all the albums are.
