Battery doesn't hold charge overnight

I have the brand new 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro, and have noticed that it never seems to hold a charge overnight, when closed and in my bag. Have had three previous MacBook Pros and don't think I've even noticed this as much. I generally charge it overnight, but on occasions when I haven't, even if its almost fully charged the night before, the battery is dead in the morning. Is there some setting I should be changing or do I have a problem here?

Hold the option key and click the battery icon in the upper right menu bar—what is the condition report?

Anything but Condition: Normal you should replace.

In your case of a brand new Mac I would try :

Try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

Condition is normal, and it holds a charge as expected during the day while in use. But if I forget to plug it in at night, even if fully charged, it is always dead in the morning. Never had a mac that lost a charge when closed and not in use that fast. Energy saver settings seem right. Is there something else that could be using up the battery, while its not in use?
