Top command & then press "1" does not work

Hi,

After I press "top" on the terminal, and I press "1" to see the utilization per CPU, nothing happens. It appears that I have 1 processor with 2 cores. It also appears I have hyper threading as I see 4 cores in the Activity Monitor. Does anybody know why I can't see it per CPU?

The command line processing and file and directory name processing is quite often case-sensitive on macOS, command input errors can have consequences across all of a user’s files, errors with commands invoked with sudo can have system-wide consequences. and the details of available utilities and command syntax varies by platform.

Commands and switches that work on one operating system platform such as macOS might not work on another, such as on illumos. Commands and command syntax can differ across different command shells on the same platform, too.

In this case, please type the command...

top -u

If you wanted to look at that user...

top -U Spotify
