Forgot Security Questions, can’t purchase with Gift Card

I forgot my security questions when making a purchase. Transferred a gift card to account to make a purchase, can’t make It now. Contacted support to get it reset. They “can’t verify” me without the security questions.. doesn’t help. Is there anyway I can put my unused gift card back into the card, or fix my questions without knowing them?

See if you can reset the questions : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions

If you can’t reset them yourself contact Support again (obviously they can only potentially reset them if they can confirm your id and that it's your account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
