In the past, System Preferences -> Energy Saver should have the option to set put computer to sleep after a given amount of time. Is this option removed in Mojave? Why would they remove feature like this??? We can no longer have our Macs auto-sleep???

For a MacBook, that option is not available under "battery" tab. Does it mean that the system will always immediately go sleep when the display is turned off?
As far as I know. I never put mine to sleep but I imagine so.
You don't see this panel with these options?
You set the time until sleep with the slider and uncheck "Prevent computer…" if it's checked.
Where does auto sleep timer go?
