How can I save the video?

I have iPhone SE 128Gb with IOS 12. I want to save the video out of “Memories” in the programm “Photos”. But, when I tap “save video”, the ”Photos” shut down without any message, and don’t save this video. I tried to open this video in another programms, or to share in via “AirDrop” or messengers, but in all of these cases the “Photoes” shut down. All other videos make no problems with saving, but only this video, which is created in 1-st of july this year I can’t save. What can I do?

Thanks for the post in Apple Support Communities. From your message, it looks like your Photos app is quitting unexpectedly when you try to save a particular video.

Are you able to play the video in question from the Photos app without issue? The fact that the issue occurs with only one video could point to a problem with that specific video.

Restart your iPhone 8 or earlier, iPad, or iPod touch

Press and hold the Top (or Side) button until the slider appears.

Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.*

After your device turns off, press and hold the Top (or Side) button again until you see the Apple logo.

To clarify, it sounds like you're selecting the "Save To Files" option specifically; is that right?

If you're able to save all of your other videos to the Files app and share them through Messages and AirDrop, it may be best to Contact Apple Support .

Have you tried opening iMovie and selecting your video (you shouldn’t need Photos to do that), edit slightly and then re-save, then see if you can export as before.

I haven’t done this before but believe iMovie allows edits and poss the option to export (or once edited see if the change allows you to save back in Photos).

The above is guess work, but might be worth a try.
