How to unsync iPhones

I want to unsync my daughters phone and mine. We keep getting each other’s pictures and phone calls.

Hi Tshea76,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're seeing messages and photos being combined from your phone and your daughters phone. I can understand why you'd reach out for assistance with this; I'm happy to help. It sounds like you may be sharing an Apple ID with your daughter, which is the cause for the combined information you're seeing. It is possible to set up an Apple ID for her and keep your information separate while continuing to share purchases made with your Apple ID by using Family Sharing.

To accomplish this your daughter will need to create an Apple ID: Create and start using an Apple ID
If she is under the age of 13, I'd recommend that you set up her Apple ID when using these steps to set up Family Sharing: Set up Family Sharing

When you've created her Apple ID, you or she will want to follow the steps here on her devices: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password
When she signs out of iCloud with the Apple ID you currently share, she'll want to select to keep data (Contacts, Reminders) on her iPhone in order to prevent data loss.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

Best Regards.
