Hello, I have recently upgraded to iOS 12 on my iPhone 6s. Since the upgrade my phone’s battery doesn’t hold charge. At the max the charge last for about hour and half. Please advice on what could be done to remediate this issue.
P S: I cannot carry a charger where I go also the phone isn’t charging when I plug it in my car with an apple cable
due to usb restrictions, you can try plug in, unlock the iPhone or go to home screen, then it should start charging.
battery health if it is lower than 70% then it is time to replace the battery, Apple still offers the ~29$ replacement till end of december, but it can be a good wait.

The phone heats up crazy and the battery discharges. The battery health is 90 %, it’s only after I updated to ios12 I am facing this issue.
I just charged my phone to 100% in the time I replied you the battery percentage dropped by 22%.
Battery doesn’t hold charge ???
