Iphone 7 stuck at apple logo-steps did not work

I have held down the volume button and power button until screen went blank. Removed all buttons then held down the power button until the apple appeared. It sat like this for hours. I connected my PC and opened iTunes. It was latest version of itunes no upgrade needed. iphone 7 still sitting at white screen with apple logo. What do I do next?
