Cannot reset icloud Apple ID

I am new to Apple products. In my IPad there is an Apple ID for icloud. For which I don't remember the password. To make things worse I don't even remember the correct answers to the security questions.

Since I don't remember the Icloud mail ID password, I cannot reset it through mail as well. (App store and ITunes the Apple ID is different and I am aware of the credentials).

I want to reset the Icloud Apple ID password or atleast change the AppleID. Been trying for several days now. Any help will be much appreciated.

If you can't reset the account's password yourself : If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

try contacting Support and see if they can reset it for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww

Or to just remove activation lock from it and if you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it wasn’t bought used), you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
