Beats X won’t turn on or restart

Hi! I’ve had my Beats X for probably about six months. I take great care of them, there is no water damage. Nothing.

Yesterday, one earphone randomly stopped working in the middle of me listening to a song. After multiple attempts to restart it, nothing works.

Today, they worked as usual, with the exception of the one earphone. Plugged them into the charge, came back an hour later and they won’t turn on. I tried to restart them but I am unable to do that either. When I plug them back in, the LED light flashes red then white like its restarting, then goes back to the white light indicating its fully charged. They are up to date and I have experienced no issues until these past two days.

Should I just replace my beats with new ones or is there something I can do?

Hello katsoco.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I’m understanding correctly, your BeatsX will not power on. I will be glad to assist.
Let's see if you can reset them. Here's the steps:

Reset

  1. Hold down these two buttons for 10 seconds:
    • Power button
    • Volume down button
  2. When the LED indicator light flashes, release the buttons. Your earphones are now reset and ready to be set up with your devices again.

If they still won't power on, I would recommend contacting Apple Support for service.

Here’s how: Contact Apple Support

Cheers.
