Cannot login to MacOs After Mojave upgrade

Working on MBP 2017 and uodated yesterday on MacOs Mojave.

All goes well yesterday, but this morning when switching on MBP, arriving on login page and unable to login, as if pasword was reseted by system.

Any assistance available?

Hi, This has happened to my 4k iMac 2015 right after I upgraded to Mojave. Initially I reformatted my disk and re-installed the OS but it happened a second time to me. The second time I followed instructions on Macworld on how to reset my password via the recovery mode, going into the console and entering 'resetpassword' pressing return. This worked and allowed me to login. However today, my iMac has again forgotten my new password and even after trying to reset the password again this failed.


Just give the instructions here on Macworld a go to try and reset your password then backup everything on your disk while you still have access. Absolutely appalled that Apple allowed this software bug to get through QA.
