Can anybody help me understand why I cant download office 365 2016 when clearly it should be supported by my system?

macOS: Office for Mac is supported on the three most recent versions of macOS. When a new version of macOS is released, the Office for Mac Operating System requirement becomes the then-current three most recent versions: the new version of macOS and the previous versions.
With the release of Mojave, it may no longer be compatible with El Capitan.
What happens (e.g., what error message) when you try?
What browser and version are you using? Microsoft can have issues with older versions of Safari (or other browsers).
Thnx, I ended up fixing it by updating my software to mojave, so its all good 🙂
