How to get back to FaceTime call window?

Hi,

During a Facetime call on my iPhone 10Xs, using IOS 12, I left the screen currently showing the video of the person I was facetiming with to look at something else during that call. I then tried to return to the facetime call window to return to seeing the person I was talking with on Facetime, and I couldn't seem to figure out how to return to the facetime call window. Does anyone out there have any idea on how this can be done?

Specifically, let's have you review the following section:

Multitask during a call

Go to the Home screen, then tap an app icon to open an app.

You can still talk with your friend, but you can’t see each other. To return to the video, tap the green bar (or FaceTime icon) at the top of the screen.
