Heart rate reading (in bpm) on watch face

I am using the infograph modular watch face. Prior to today's software update, I had configured the face to show the Cardiogram app in the bottom right with the readings displayed on the face (82 bpm for example). Now, I just see two dashes in that space "- -". I can click through to the actual bpm data but I'm trying to show that on the face. I spent 30 mins with Apple support and they couldn't resolve. I tried to move this app to other positions on the face but those positions won't allow the Cardio app as an option. Any thoughts?
