Change time of day for iOS updates

this morning my iPhone 7 used 1.6GB to update iOS. I only have a 20 GB data program. Last month it used up all of my data within 10 days. I can’t afford this. How do I change my settings so that my iOS updates occur between 3 AM and 5 AM? I really would appreciate any help I can get for this. My gratitude.

iPhone 7, iOS 12, I’m lost on this issue

iOS updates would only happen on wi-fi. If you are restricted to the amount of wi-fi you can use, then turn it off during times you are restricted. The iOS update should not have been done via cellular, because of the size. You also have control over turning on/off what can use cellular if you are referring to cellular data for other things.
