I have created a slideshow on Mac Photo. Can that be transferred in tact to iMovie?
I have created a slideshow on my MacBook Pro using Apple Photo. It works pretty good but it has some limitations.
Can I transfer that intact to iMovie?

Yes. In the Photos app open the slideshow and do a File/Export/Export Slideshow. Then drag the slideshow from your desktop into iMovie.
