Disk Utility Cant Repair My Book Duo
Ever since a couple weeks ago my 8tb WD EHD has had so many issues. I have been trying to use time machine to back up my mac and I keep getting this error
And when I try to repair it in disk utility it says this
Here is the full log from disk utility.

Restoring the original state found as mounted.
Problem -69842 occurred while restoring the original mount state.
File system verify or repair failed.
Operation failed…
After that failed I tried to change it to read/write in "get info" and it comes with this.
"You do not have permission to complete this action." But I am an administrator!
So am I pretty much screwed?
Ive read online about re-formating but I would lose 3TB of files.
Thanks,
Carter
