I am having a volume problem with my iPhone 7 how can it be fixed?

I have started having a volume problem with my iPhone 7 the volume is turned all the way up but can barely hear the person on other end I am having to use speaker just to hear what is said on other end of my phone. How can it be fixed????

Understand that the ability to change the volume for the earpiece can only be done while in a phone call. If you are in a call, and without switching to the speaker, make sure the volume is turned up. You should see the word Volume and see the slider moving up when pressing the volume button on the side of the phone. If that does not change the volume, then go to Settings>Sounds & Haptics and make sure the Change with Buttons setting is on.


If that does not help, then make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have the device examined by Apple. They will explain your options from there.
