Using Apple Loops in Acid?

Hello - I'm wondering if Apple Loops can be converted into Acid files.

A bit of a background: I'm a former Mac user but switched to PC for various reasons - mostly that the lowest end PowerMac at the time I switched back was prohibitively expensive for me. Maybe my next computer will be a Mac but until then, I'm going to pick up Sony Acid Music Studio and use that. Still, I've got tons of jam packs and would like to use the loops from the jampacks in my composition.

Is there any utility or plugin that would let me use the Apple Loops in Acid?

Long answer...

The problem is not the audio, it's the metadata. Loops have a great deal of metadata to denote the key, beat, where the beats occur, loop points, genre, etc. You may be able to covert a loop to a WAV file to use in Acid, but it will lose all metadata, so you will not be able to change key or adjust the tempo to work with the Acid loops.

Short answer... No.

Suggest you sell the JamPacks or wait until you get another Mac.
