iPhone purchase in eBay

I am planning to buy an iPhone 6 Plus in ebay.com (USA), but the seller is shipping it from China.

The device is brand new, unopened in box with 1 year Apple warranty.

In this case, will the device have warranty coverage in USA (where it is ordered from) or only in China (where it is shipped from) or the device does not have warranty at all, as it was purchased via eBay.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

It's unlikely this phone was originally released from Apple inventory in the US, so any warranty this phone had will most likely be tied to China. And as already pointed out, the warranty on this phone began the day whoever originally purchased it from Apple, which is surely more than a year ago now, so you likely won't have any warranty.

I personally wouldn't touch this phone with a 10 foot pole, even if it comes in a shrink wrapped, never opened box.
