I spilled water on my MacBook air keyboard and now the keyboard and track pad have stopped working except for the power button. I am using an external keyboard and mouse atm. Any ideas or suggestion on what the problem might be?
The water got to your logic board. Make an appointment with your nearest Apple Store, or Apple Authorized Service Provider for a quote to fix. Nothing we can do here, as we are not Apple.
Ask the Apple Store, or the AASP. They will only install a new logic board, which is unique to your specific MacBook Air model. Thinking you can get off cheaply with used parts is unwise in this particular case.
Can I use the logic board of some other Mac and replace mine?
