VST DVD-Video card - does anyone need one?

I have a VST DVDPCCG32 DVD-Video PC card for Powerbook G3 Series. Some Googling says that this was only needed for the 333 Mhz logic board version of the Lombard. In conjunction with a DVD drive it provides hardware decoding for viewing DVDs.

All my G3 powerbooks have bitten the dust many years now. Great machines, I miss them.
